OFFICIAL RULES

( please read carefully and in detail )


1. ELIGIBILITY:
- High School students grades 9-12

2. HOW TO ENTER:

- Apply at YSNSports.com/NBACity and follow the instructions to complete the entry form. In order to provide a qualified entry submission, you must provide ALL information requested on the entry. Incomplete or late entries will be disqualified.

3. ENTRY DEADLINE:

- 5:00pm THURSDAY APRIL 26, 2012

- Due to the anticipated response, it is highly recommended that entries be submitted immediately!

4. INVITATIONS TO AUDITION:

- a. Those receiving an invitation to audition will be notified on or before
FRIDAY APRIL 27, 2012 via email and telephone.

b. Finalists are instructed to arrive at NBA CITY Restaurant - Universal Studios for registration beginning at 6:00pm on MONDAY APRIL 30, 2012. Auditions begin at 7:00pm. YSN SPORTS BROADCASTING ACADEMY reserves the right to disqualify any finalist who arrives after 6:30pm.

IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT FINALISTS AND THEIR FAMILIES MAKE
DINNER RESERVATIONS AT THE RESTAURANT IN ORDER TO ENSURE SEATING
TROUGHOUT THE AUDITIONS. MAKE RESERVATIONS AT:

c. Each finalist will be assigned a time for his or her audition. Auditions will be recorded.

d. A panel consisting of YSN SPORTS BROADCASTING ACADEMY staff members, at their discretion, will judge all finalists for selected “Youth Sports Talk Show Co-Host” positions. Criterion will include, but not be limited to, subjective assessments of each finalist’s communication skills, appeal to NBA City’s restaurant audience, and other unique factors. The decisions of the YSN SPORTS BROADCASTING ACADEMY staff are incontestable, final and binding.

5. PREPARATION
From a youth perspective, choose (one) topic from the following list to discuss for five minutes with your co-host and the live audience:

• Should college athletes get paid?
• Are professional athletes role models?
• Performing-enhancing drugs reaching into high schools and middle schools
• Hazing
• Adult behavior/parent pressure on youth sports
• How young is too young?
• Should kids play more than one sport?
• Abuse by coaches in youth sports
• Favoritism in youth sports
• Girls playing in a boy sports
• To co-ed or not to co-ed
• Pressures to earn a college scholarship
• Competition vs. Fun (youth play versus youth sport)
• High costs of playing youth sports
• Sportsmanship (Winning and losing)

6. SHOW INFORMATION

The show will be billed as “The YSN Sports Insiders”- A Family Live Sports Talk Show…by Kids.” First show will run on Monday May 7, 2012 and continue every MONDAY for (one) hour starting at 7:00pm. The YSN SPORTS BROADCASTING ACADEMY reserves the right to change show schedule.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

a. By entering the competition, entrants grant to YSN SPORTS BROADCASTING ACADEMY an unlimited, non-exclusive, royalty-free right and license to publish any and all footage in any medium now known or hereafter invented, in perpetuity.

b. This competition is not a hiring decision, and YSN SPORTS BROADCASTING ACADEMY is not offering a full- or part-time position in connection with this competition.

c. By participating in this contest, finalists (i) agree to have their names, photographs, voices, biographical information, likenesses, and audition video used in any and all media for promotional purposes relating to this contest or future similar contests without further compensation or notice, and (ii) represent that they agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges and
YSN SPORTS BROADCASTING ACADEMY.

d. These Official Rules shall be governed, construed and enforced pursuant to the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to the choice of law provisions thereof.
